Abstract
This case is a field study from an actual company at the managerial level. It investigates “Using the rolling calculation of out-of-stock placement to provide a customized system employing Line for rapid notification and broadcasting of replenishment service platforms”, constructing a rapid ordering system, allowing customers to order goods online in real-time. In this way, it is possible to actively provide customer services, expanding the original service scope, increasing operating income and reducing labor costs, ultimately achieving improved performance and increased profits. Liang-Wei tobacco and alcohol begun planning its digital transformation in 2018, participated in the 2019 Taoyuan City Government Local Industry Innovation R&D Promotion Program and commenced its implementation in October, 2019, cumulating in the enabling of the rapid notification and broadcasting platform in 2020. This case will describe how Vice President Tsai leads his team to promote and implement the digital transformation plan, providing a first-hand account of the difficulties they faced. By analyzing the transformation process and providing a specific model to evaluate the overall results, this study elucidates how the company employs the rapid notification and broadcast platform to effectively expand its services, achieving profit growth and enhancing competitiveness.
